Fidel honored by Boise Mayor Dave Bieter

Here is a video of Dave Beiter, Boise’s Mayor, acknowledging Fidel’s role in advocating for Boise’s refugee community.

It kills me how comfortable Fidel is in front of large audiences.

Poetry Reading Nov. 11th 2010!!

Idaho friends and supporters:  Fidel will be having a poetry reading and book signing at the Idaho Black History Museum on November 11th at 7pm.  Don’t miss this opportunity to support Fidel and his family who are still stuck in Uganda, praying for relocation to the United States.  It is also a chance for you to be inspired by his poetry which describes his personal journey as a refugee.

  1. I am trying to get in touch with the woman/people over the Jaguar Moon bags. I purchased one at Hyde Park Street Fest last year and had contacted her at one point and have lost her information. Is she not doing them anymore? Please let me know as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

    • Sorry for the delay. Looks like Jaquar Moon Bags is out of business which shocks me. We have relocated to Jacskon Hole, Wyoming temporarily, so I did not realize Jaquar was not operating in Boise right now. I will look through my files and see if I have any phone number that might still work as a cotact, but clearly they are not in business at the level they previously were. I will get back to you if I can provide any further contact info in the next day or two.

  2. Me sorry for my english not so well, but me think that you are write too pointe.
